Novak Djokovic stops Rafael Nadalas eight-year reign in Monte Carlo

World number 1 Novak Djokovic ended Rafael Nadalas eight-year rule at the Monte Carlo Masters on Sunday having an impressive 6-2, 7-6 victory in the ultimate. Nadal placed 46 consecutive wins at this claycourt event along with his last and only defeat at this event was against Guillermo Coria 10 years before.
