In Hindsight, Russell Westbrook Possibly Shouldnat Have Tried To Attract A Foul With A Halfcourt Heave With 18 Seconds Left On The Chance Time

If Russell Westbrook had gotten the horrible call he was obviously looking for with this halfcourt heave during his teamas 105-93 loss to the Spurs yesterday evening, wead be enjoying his mad master today. Well, really, not quite a' we might nevertheless be wondering just what held him to take from 40-odd feet with 2:29 left in the next quarter and 18 seconds left on the shot clock as opposed to, you know, run an offensive person to be able to get a shot deeper than 40-odd feet. But we wouldnat have the ability to fight with the outcomes, at least. As an alternative, though, Westbrook did not obtain the foul phone he was looking for: Therefore instead weare left with one more missed shot in a night that contained a lot of them for Westbrook (he concluded 11-for-27 from the field), and a lot of pictures, period (his 27 efforts were more than two times as many as any other Thunder player, including Kevin Durant). If these two teams meet again in the West finals, the Thunder may want to close up that opportunity disparitya or at the very least ensure it doesnat occur from photographs such as this. [CJ Fogler]
