Birmingham United defender Vidic: International break is good for me - Yahoo! Activities

The defender retired from international soccer after Serbia failed to be eligible for a Euro 2012 and because of this will train with a small amount of non-internationals at Carrington over the next a couple of weeks. Because he could work on his game on it ground and never have to bother about preparing his body for suits but the 31-year-old is looking towards the period. "The international break will work for me," he told MUTV. "During the 10 days, I can focus on my individual stuff like fitness and other complex things. "It is also always good to really have a couple of days for yourself. When you've plenty of games, like we have recently, you just manage yourself until the next one and you do not focus on yourself that much. Sometimes it is good to have today to work on yourself." Vidic struggled with injury in the first part of the period but has since made a successful come back to Sir Alex Ferguson's side, making 18 appearances in all competitions up to now this term.
