Dallas Cowboys: Remaining Offseason Things

Now that Will has arrived and the draft and free agency are out of the way, here's a listing of points the Dallas Cowboys need certainly to address between now and the start of the 2013 NFL regular season. 1. Decide the proper handle condition Tyson Clabo closed with the Miami Dolphins over the weekend, making Eric Winston because the only legitimate option remaining on the free-agent market. Texas may either pay up for Winston or keep Doug Free. Do not expect the Cowboys to do both, and don't expect them to accomplish neither. They can not afford to enter 2013 with Jermey Parnell at right tackle. Deadline: Early June 2. Finalize a hard-and-fast play-calling program Jerry Jones said a week ago that Tony Romo will be concerned in this process, along with the game-planning process, which only adds to the confusion regarding who exactly will be calling shots to the offensive this year in Dallas. The stark reality is that Romo has always examined of plays at a higher price, therefore things might not change a lot here. Jonathan Bales of The DC Times has a nice breakdown of what Romo's control has been like in recent years and why the play-calling process things going forward. Deadline: Late September 3. Decide Travis Frederick's position The first-round pick is just about the only rookie who will begin from the get-go, but Dallas needs to decide if he's better off supplanting Phil Costa at middle or Mackenzy Bernadeau at right guard. Center makes a bit more feeling, but I do believe Costa is the better of those two obligatory beginners. Incidents might make this choice easier on Jason Garrett. Deadline: Late September 4. Select a starting free safety J.J. Wilcox is really a rookie, and Matt Johnson is a rookie for several purposes and intents. May either beat out the unimpressive 30-year-old Will Allen in order to earn a starting spot alongside Barry Church? Boys supporters are certainly wishing that one of those young men emerges to replace the deceased Gerald Sensabaugh. Deadline: Late September 5. Determine a No. 3 recipient The Cowboys may once more have an open battle because of this work. A year ago, it was won in camp by Kevin Ogletree, but he let it get away throughout the period and is now gone. 2 yrs ago, Laurent Robinson took the job in October. This year, rookie third-round pick Terrance Williams will probably battle it out with Dwayne Harris, who was simply outstanding late in 2012. The loss could possibly be in big trouble, though, since Cole Beasley will most likely get photographs as the No. 4 device working from the slot. Deadline: Early September
