Espanyol vs. Real Madrid: La Liga Live Coverage

Coming off of a thrilling 6-2 victory against Malaga, Real Madrid will travel to Catalonia to take on 11th place Espanyol. With the Copa del Rey final on the horizon, however, Jose Mourinho will likely rest several of his stars.

Espanyol has the chance to move into the top 10 of the La Liga table with a win against Real Madrid. But it will certainly not be an easy task for the Catalan side.

The hosts will be without Cristian Alvarez, Felipe Mattioni and Simao (via Goal). But facing a Real Madrid side that is resting stars will likely make this competition closer than normal.

Real Madrid has only won twice in their last five away matches, but Espanyol is yet to win at home in their last four competitions.

This match has excitement written all over it. I will be right here to give you live coverage from start to finish, so meet back here an hour before kickoff for all the pregame information.
