World number one Novak Djokovic suffered another early loss with the claycourts and with the Roland Garros merely week away, this is not a good development.
The top seed was serving for the match against Tomas Berdych inside the second set before squandering the opportunity and letting the Czech opponent catch as much seal the set plus the third set. Berdych gained 2-6, 7-5, 6-4 in their Rome Masters 2013 quarterfinal match up.
This is the following consecutive week that Djokovic had lost early within a tournament. At the Madrid Masters, the Serb exited inside the second round after getting defeated by Bulgarian Grigor Dimitrov.
"I know I are able to play well on clay i really shouldn't allow myself to experience these drops and let's hope it won't happen for Roland Garros, " Djokovic proclaimed. "I'm fine. I merely lost my rhythm. "
The Roland Garros tournament is the only event that he or she hasn't won yet but came close numbers when he lost with the final against Rafael Nadal.
