Shows of Bolton Wanderers 2-2 Blackpool: Trotters one purpose shy of playoffs

When all was said and done at the Reebok Stadium, it was quite a bitter pill for Bolton Wanderers supporters to swallow. An awful start for the men in white coupled with an unbelievable return wasn't enough to take the Trotters to the playoffs as they might see their period end with a 2-2 draw against Blackpool. Matty Phillips opened the scoring on the 20 minute mark thanks to a simply lovely bit of interplay at the side of the box. The quick moving shift put the winger in space and his finish, located in the top part, was unstoppable by Adam Bogdan. Ludovic Sylvestre would increase the Seasiders' edge some quarter-hour later, side-footing Neal Eardley's cross on the volley low and into the bottom corner at the far post. In first-half stoppage time, subsequent Dougie's decision to admit his mistake and introduce Marvin Sordell as opposed to Robert Hall, Bolton would find their energy. Marcos Alonso found Chris Eagles at the edge of the region and the winger's tempting work found its way in to the top corner of Matt Gilks' net. Two minutes later, Craig Davies would level issues because of his shot, also from the edge of the field. His work got a powerful deflection before dribbling into the back of the internet at the near post, past a wrong-footed Gilks. If you weren't at the Reebok, listed here are the features for you: As a bonus, be sure to get a look at the save yourself Adam Bogdan made on Ludovic Sylvestre's work nearby the end of the fit, questioning Blackpool a win and (at that time) keeping Bolton well inside a playoff spot.
